INTERNATIONAL DRIVING LICENSE REQUIRED TO RENT A CAR
The International Driving License is required by the Greek Legislation for all drivers who are not citizens of the European Union (with the exception of the citizens of Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Iceland) and generally for holders of a driving license which is not in English for to accompany their official driving license in order to rent a car in Greece. This is a very important information that is strictly adhered to. The International Driving License is valid in more than 150 countries and has driver information as well as a photo of it. The International Driving License is required from the following regions: Africa, Australia, Asia, Central America, the Middle East, North America, Russia and South America.
